Snowshoeing: accessible trails and stunning views

No need to be an Olympic athlete to make the most of our snowshoeing trails. If you can walk, you can definitely snowshoe! Whether you're a pro in the snow or a beginner, the region is brimming with trails of all sorts (and all free of charge), ranging from leisurely strolls to slightly more strenuous, but generally shorter, routes. On our trails, you're sure to come across surreal scenery and breathtaking views. As a bonus, you may even spot wildlife such as lynx or white partridge.

Cross-country or downhill skiing - do it with style!

There's no artificial snow here, that's for sure! The slopes at our ski centre are ready to accommodate your skiing style. While the mountain isn't huge, its view of Lac Chibougamau, the winding glades, and the $30 daily rate make for a larger-than-life experience.

For cross-country skiers, Obalski Regional Park in Chibougamau provides total immersion in nature. What's more, in Matagami, you're sure to fall under the spell of the Bell-Nature network's enchanting trails.
