Both local and federated trails are maintained by dedicated volunteers who are, above all, passionate snowmobile enthusiasts!

Snow conditions are exceptional every year: the abundance and quality of snow make the reputation of Eeyou Istchee Baie-James, from December to April. Bad snow conditions in the middle of February? We never heard of them!

And what can we say about our majestic winter landscapes? The region is a promise of a successful and out of the ordinary snowmobile ride! Do you feel like going for a shorter trip? Discover the western sector of Eeyou Baie-James, from Matagami to Lebel-sur-Quévillon, via our neighbor Abitibi-Témiscamingue. This 950 km circuit will take you to several towns that you will enjoy discovering.

CHIBOUGAMAU ADVENTURE

The great classic? The Festival Folifrets Baie-James has been a major attraction in Chibougamau for over 50 years. Other gatherings put antique snowmobiles in the spotlight, such as the Super Rallye Minounes and the Défi Polaire Baie-James.
